Mort & Co Fertilisers was established to repurpose an abundant resource, backed by Australia’s biggest feedlot.
Our granular fertiliser can be applied strategically and at depth. The granular form allows this to occur via an airseeder, or deep ripper. The ease of application and deep application ensures the fertiliser is being absorbed where it is needed for healthy growth and optimal yield.
Once applied, the fertiliser will retain up to two times its weight in water, which allows it to act as a slow release fertiliser. Its water holding capabilities also mean the soil becomes more resilient during dry times, while also promoting long-term fertility and enhancing the overall health of the agricultural ecosystem.
As Mort & Co's fertiliser blends with the soil, it enriches the growing medium by providing a comprehensive array of macro and micronutrients. These include vital macro nutrients such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sulphur, Calcium, and Magnesium, as well as essential micronutrients like Zinc, Manganese, Boron, Molybdenum, Cobalt, and Silicon. This diverse nutrient profile enhances soil fertility and ensures that crops receive a balanced and complete nutritional foundation, supporting their growth, resilience, and overall productivity.
By promoting the retention of beneficial elements and minimising leaching, our fertiliser ensures that valuable nutrients stay within the root zone, where they are most needed. This targeted distribution enhances nutrient uptake by plants, minimises nutrient loss, and contributes to sustainable farming practices.
On farm trials have shown Mort & Co's fertiliser can increase yield by up to 35%. By providing crops with the necessary nutrients, our fertiliser supports vigorous growth, increased productivity, and higher-quality harvests. It also reduces the need for chemical sprays with natural bugs providing protection for the crop. The culmination of the spread, absorb, enrich, and retention processes results in bountiful yields that contribute to the success and prosperity of farmers, and a healthier soil for generations to come.
Mort & Co granules have been formulated to suit specific soil constraints and contain a broad range of macro and micro elements.
